I have to agree with both previous comments, a little bit of Gausian Blur in Photoshop would fix this, the lighting otherwise is great, it's not easy to get a pure black background (it's so often grey!) and I really do like the composition
A bit of powder would have fixed the high gloss reflection on the skin. I don't think Gauss Blur would be the best technique. There's a Liz Arden product that's preferable. A matte finish air brushing with careful colour selection would be my choice. Then a slight blur and add some texture as a finishing touch.

hi Peter, greetings from Oregon. I have to agree with Larry, it's so rare you see a photograph here wtih actual critical comments, critical as in thinking/helpful type critical, which you seem to be receptive to this. Anyway, you got a nice shot all in all!
