Sorry I haven't been posting much lately due to doing some major house refurbishment and redecoration but today was too nice to stay in. Goldwing passed the MOT so decided to have a spin.

Ebbw Vale Parkway station. The line between Ebbw Vale and Cardiff was recently reopened after many years of being closed to passenger traffic. The line had been used by the Steelworks which was closed and demolished and popular demand lead to the passenger service being re-established. All the stations on the line are brand new and in new locations - this station is a couple of miles from Ebbw Vale town centre, near the Garden Festival Site.

There was even a train in the station!

... and the Cymraeg platform signs!

BTW: The clock in your camera is different from the time on the platform.

But you never know with British Rail. There may be leaves or sheep on the track which might have upset the platform clock in some way.
;-))

No it's the camera, the train was on time! ;)

British Rail no longer exists, it's all franchises now and Arriva hold the franchise for Wales.
