The following day the coach took us on a tour around the island with a guide on board who originally came from Edinburgh.
The second stop was Ramsey.
Ramsey comes from the Old Norse for "Garlic River or Garlic Island."
There is no island in the River Sulby however.
It's Manx name is Rhymsaa.
