This used to stand at the Ebbw Vale Garden Festival site and was moved to Newport afterwards. It performed some interesting mechanical manoevres as each hour struck, partly collasping and opening to allow figures to descend and swing across before it closed up and righted itself again.
Unfortunately you can see the sign - looks like it has been there a while so I wonder how long before it is up and running again?
