The boat is small. I am wondering how he manage to keep it afloat with the large sail. I like his lobster catch!!

Just a few meters out on the sea they put the peace of wood, forgot the english name......in the middle back of the boat through it, that peace than sticks out of the bottom and keeps the boat in balance

If it's under the boat on the bottom it's the Keel, the rudder steers the boat. the keel keeps it from flipping over.
