Bobbitt's Fotothing PhotoBlog InfoThing: In Charleston we had a bedroom with kitchen privileges. I couldn't boil water. Lamar read recipes and encouraged me. Most of the time I slept late and met him downtown at 5:00 for supper and a movie, sometimes two. We were living it up for 2 years! The only time Lamar ever had a 8 to 5 job! Finally I went downtown to take typing lessons (I had already had private lessons (it was not taught in schools then) and soon had a job at Charleston Shipyards. We moved to North Charleston to a "project".
