The native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County was a homemaker, devoted wife, and loving mother. Mrs. Martin was a graduate of Brooklet High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics from the University of Georgia. She was a member of the Emit Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Martin was a member and officer of the Gamma Pi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was active in the Spade and Trowel Garden Club and other clubs. Affectionally known as Nanny to her grandchildren she was an excellent cook, loved gardening and the outdoors. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and her parents W.W. Bill and Janie Lou Zetterower Jones. Surviving is her husband of 55 years Cloyce T. Martin of Statesboro; one son Tew Martin of Savannah and one daughter Jone Martin Bremer of Savannah; two grandchildren Chelsea Bremer and Jeb Bremer of Savannah; one sister-in-law Faye Sanders Martin of Statesboro; one uncle and several nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00-7:00 pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Elder W.H. Durrence and Elder Howard Cox officiating. Burial: Eastside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aubrey Aldrich, Aubrey Pye, Chap Cromley, John Quattlebaum, Phillip Proctor, and Glenn Irving. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O.
