Allison Michelle Disher, 3 years old , was called to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, October 16, 2006. Allison was born on May 16, 2003 at Candler Hospital, Savannah, to her parents, Michael Edward Disher and Margaret Schmidt Disher of Guyton. Allie attended Mrs. Terri's "Smiley Child" Daycare in Ellabell. She was baptized in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Springfield. She loved her Sunday School class and she loved to sing. Her favorite songs included "Jesus Loves Me" and the "ABC Song". She enjoyed putting puzzles together and playing dolls with her older sisters. She especially loved her bicycle rides to the park at Tybee. Survivors, in addition to her parents are her three sisters, Meghan E. Harper of Savannah, Katherine Frances Disher and Kelsey Jeanette Disher of Guyton; paternal grandparents, Maybess and Wayne Disher of Tybee Island; maternal grandmother, Dorothy D. Schmidt of Savannah and the late John R. Schmidt, Sr., and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2006 in the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Springfield. Burial: Bonaventure Cemetery. In Allie's memory, please send a letter to the "Georgia Department of Transportation" TMC - Building #24, 935 E. Confederate Ave., Atlanta, GA 30316. Also a letter to the "Office of the Governor", Georgia State Capital, Atlanta, GA 30334, demanding a traffic light and speed monitoring at the intersection of Highway 80 and 280 in Bryan County to prevent further senseless deaths.
