Mrs. Betty Grinnage was born on March 27, 1925 in Americus, GA. She was the second child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Alice Patilla. She departed this life on Friday, October 27, 2006 at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Betty attended the Public Schools in Savannah, GA. She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Willing Workers. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, James Patilla and her husband, Mr. Sam Grinnage of Flint, Michigan. Mrs. Betty Grinnage leaves to cherish her precious memory, her brother, Albert Patilla, Jr. and sister -in-law Mrs. Mimie Patilla of Mattapan, MA; sister -in-law, Mrs. Betrice Brown of Savannah; nephew, Albert Patilla III of Weymouth, MA; nieces, Betty Patilla and Margaret McLam of Rackbery, MA, Mary Simms of Dorcheter, Mass.; niece and nephew, Ava and James Ancrum of Savannah; nephews, Alvin Patilla and James Patilla, Jr., both of Savannah and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love her very much.
