Statesboro - Mrs. Sarah Godbee Peeples, 80, left this life for eternal life to be with her Heavenly Father Monday night at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. The native of Screven County lived in Bulloch County for five years. She was an active member of the Landmark Holiness Church. Mrs. Peeples enjoyed writing poems and loved people. Left to cherish her memories are two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Blackburn Coffey and her husband, Delmas of Marlow, Ga and Becky Blackburn Myers of Garden City; one sister, Georgia Lee Perry of Dublin; three brothers and sisters-in-law, G. W. and Ruth Godbee of Louisville, Franklin and Mary Godbee of Augusta and Willie and Shirley Godbee of Bloomingdale; four grandchildren, Shari Williamson, Jason (Amy) Blackburn, Laurie Terrell and Samantha Brinson; five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends and loved ones. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
