Viola R. Jenkins, 82 died January 3, 2007 under the care of Hospice Savannah. Preceded in death by the love of her life, the late Irby Arthur Jenkins Sr. Viola was a life long resident of Savannah, she worked in the railroad industry, for Sea Board Coastline; she was active in the Moose Lodge and a member of WIBC. Viola was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched. Survivors include her son, Irby A. (Carolyn) Jenkins Jr., daughters Cricket Watkins, Diane Wood and Teresa Beasley, brothers Henry, Herbert and William Royal; cousins Jeanie Bandy, Joanne Jenkins, Twyla Royal; grandchildren Scooter, Bonnie, Toby (Melissa), Trey (Kasie), Dana, and four great grandchildren.
