MACON, GA - Samuel "Sam" Delane Amos, 54, of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 15. 2007. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2P.M. at First Evangelical Church, 3601 Fulton Mill Road. Reverend Tim Long and Reverend Andy Pickens will officiate. -Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. -Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Horace Delane Amos and Dorothy Mae Barber Amos. He was a construction superintendent for the Peidmont Construction Group. He was a member of the First Evangelical Church in Macon. -He is survived by his wife, Kim Knowland Amos of Macon; Children, Missi Amos, Adam Amos, and Katie Amos, all of Macon; Brothers and Sister, Gerald Amos, Randy Amos, both of Macon and Barbara Baker of Twiggs County, GA; Faithful friend, his dog Muffy; His special nephew and niece, Tyler Knowland and Haleigh Knowland. -The family may be contacted at 644 Fairmont Drive North, Macon, GA. -Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
