Geraldine "Gerri" Bates Roberts, 62, passed away Wednesday, September 27th at Select Specialty Hospital. Survivors are daughter, Natalyn P. (Dennis) Morris; three sisters, Margaret Brown, Willento "Linnie" Bates, and Joann (Johnnie) Wilson. Two brothers, Wilfred Jr. (Betty) Bates, and Nathaniel (Joyce) Bates. Two grandchildren, Artavia Bates and DJ Morris. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 7 at 12, Noon, at Fairlawn Baptist Church. Interment: Hillcrest Abby West. Viewing at Speed & Adams Funeral Home Friday from 11:00 -6:00 p.m. Reposing at the church Saturday 10:00 a.m. until hour of service.
