Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Lewis Harmon Bragg and Eva Eudora Bragg. Mr. Bragg was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church and retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. He served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bragg later retired as Director of Maintenance for Candler Hospital. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 57 years, who preceded him in death on October 24, 2006. Mr. Bragg always tried to make everyone else happy, and he especially loved staying in touch with his friends with his computer. Surviving are one daughter, Valerie E. Reynolds of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, James J. "Jimmy" Bragg, Jr. and his wife, Carlette, of Faulkville, Georgia, and Louis H. Bragg and his wife, Sheila, of Rincon, Georgia; eleven grandchildren, Melissa Renee Taghipour, Davie Allen Smith, Diane Marie Crutchfield, Shannon Ann Bragg, James Jackie Bragg III, James Lewis Reynolds, Justin Lee Reynolds, Brian James Elton Bragg, Amanda Elaine Bragg-Wood, Wayne Andrew Bragg and Lindsay Elizabeth Bragg; six great-grandchildren, and one brother, Rufus Bragg and his wife, Reba, of Ellabell, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue. Funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Carlton F. Anderson. Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park - East.
