Just one day after the announcement that the 48th Brigade will return to the combat zone, members of the 148th Support Battalion get ready to unveil a memorial for three soldiers who died fighting in Iraq. Sergeants Philip Dodson, Marcus Futrell, and Philip Travis died in a Humvee accident in December 2005 in Iraq. They worked with the 148th Support Battalion out of Forsyth, a unit of the Macon-based 48th Brigade of the Georgia National Guard.
