The Very Reverend Kate Bobbitt is our Associate Rector with oversight of Pastoral Care. Kate is Dean of Diocesan Convocation 2 (hence the "Very" in her title) and serves on the Diocesan Executive Committee. Kate formerly served as head of Chaplaincy Services at Goodwin House, an Episcopal retirement and assisted-living center in Alexandria, Virginia; Associate Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church in McLean, Virginia; and as Priest-in-Charge of Trinity Episcopal Church in Arlington, Virginia. Kate has her Master's Degree in divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary. Kate is a native of Norfolk, where she met her husband, Rosser. Rosser served as a career soldier and is currently a nuclear physicist on the research staff of the Institute for Defense Analyses. Kate and Rosser have three children: Myra Hope, Foye, and Max. | |
