Mrs. Eloise Harper, 97, of Garfield, Saturday, December 23, 2006, at Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Harper, a native of Emanuel County, was a retired school teacher and a member of Garfield Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Harper, of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren, Tara Hutchison, of Madison and Joe Harper of Lawrenceville; four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Coggins officiating. Interment: Hebron Cemetery, in Garfield. Pallbearers will be Gene Bennett, Mark Smithy Paul Donnelly, Chris Edenfield, Hansel Morris and Wayne Harper.
