Savannah- Mr. William Kersey, 39, died on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Hospice Savannah surrounded by his family. The Chatham County native was a supervisor with Ansley & Sutton Construction Company, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his yard. He was of the Methodist faith, William was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Kersey. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Kersey of Savannah; son, Cody Kersey of Savannah; mother and step-father, Ellen and Randy Durden of Metter; brother, Paul Carter of Green Bay; step-sister, Kayla Durden of Metter; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Temperance Woods of Brooklet; one niece, two nephews, several great -nieces and greatnephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral: 3 p.m, on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with interment to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale. Remembrances to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
