William H. Reed, Jr. "Billy" 72, died Tuesday, January 16th, 2007at Candler Hospital. He was born on May 2nd , 1934 in Savannah where he resided his entire life. He worked in his family's business "Reed's Market" for about 40 years. He was also well known for his other business, "Billy's Boiled Peanuts". He was an avid Braves fan; Billy was a very special person and will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched. Billy was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church where he received Jesus Christ and his Savior and was baptized on October 28th, 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Letha Reed and his nephew Bobby Lee Reed Jr. Survivors: three brothers and sister-in-laws; Bobby and Carolyn, Jimmy and Sandy, and Denny and Carol. Also, three nieces, three nephews, four great nieces and four great nephews, aunts, uncles, many cousins and special friends. Visitation will be Thursday 4-6 p.m., at Baker Funeral Home Funeral Services will be Friday 11 a.m., at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Brian Jobe of Savannah Christian Church officiating.
