Savannah - Raymond Cormier, 59, passed away peacefully Friday, Mar 31, 2006 at home, with his family. He was born in Grosses Croque, Nova Scotia, Canada, and was preceded in death by his Mother, Laura Melanson Cormier. He was formerly of Leominster, and Sandwich, Massachusetts. He was a Veteran having served in the US Marines, during the Vietnam Conflict, and later served in the US Army, where he retired. He was a member of American Legion Post # 184 in Thunderbolt, GA, VFW Post # 660, and DAV Chapter. He is survived by his wife, Linda Jaworski Cormier, of Savannah, GA; a son and daughter in law, Jason and Jenny Cormier, of Sweden; a daughter and son in law, Andrea and Bruce Landis, of Charleston, SC; father, Paul Cormier; two brothers and sisters -in- law, Paul and Linda Cormier, and Wayne and Cindy Cormier; two grandchildren, Jacob Jett Landis and Hailey Laura Cormier. Memorial Services: 4 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home.
