June 1-- You've probably seen signs around Vidalia welcoming home PFC Nate Adams, USMC, after his completion of boot camp at Parris Island, SC. "I've wanted to be a Marine ever since the seventh grade, and after spending a year-and-a-half at East Georgia College, decided this is what I want to do," he says. At first Nate's parents, Lisa and Pat Adams, were not in favor of his decision, but now he says, "They've done a complete turnaround and are proud of my decision." Nate's next assignment will be advanced individual training in communications at Camp Lejuene, NC.
