Sharon Gail Reese-Wheeler, 54, entered eternal rest on Monday, October 2, 2006 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was native of Savannah, Georgia, attended the public schools of Chatham County and was a 1970 graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School. She also attended Savannah Technical College in the Childhood Development Program. She was the Director of Safe Shelter, Inc. of Savannah, Georgia. She was a member of First Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Trustee Board. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Wheeler and father Clyde Martin Sr.; sister, Saralyn Arkwright and brother, Dwayne C. Martin. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Dontrae Wheeler of Savannah, GA; two daughters, Chaquita Wheeler and Lameisha Wheeler both of Atlanta, GA; mother, Dorothy Martin of Savannah, GA; one sister, Dianne Martin of Savannah, GA; two brothers, Clyde (Brenda) Martin of Savannah, GA, Gregory Martin of Savannah, GA; goddaughter, Roshawn Sams of Savannah, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Remembrances: Safe Shelter of Savannah, Inc., P.O. Box 6119, Savannah, GA 31420. Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Gail Reese Wheeler will be held 11:00am Friday, October 6, 2006 at Calvary Baptist Temple, 4625 Waters Avenue. Rev John S. Connell, Pastor.
