STC Student Receives Scholarship -- January 23, 2007 -- Tanya Dismuke, a Medical Laboratory Technology student at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship from the American Society of Clinical Pathology. A spokesman for the Society says Tanya was chosen because of "outstanding academic achievement in laboratory medicine studies, strong leadership and community service." Tanya and her husband, Danny, have a daughter and son, Alex and Jacob.
