On our recent break in Shropshire we met Chico the Harris' Hawk.

We had the chance to watch him in action, and also to have him fly to hand to feed, a lovely experience to get close to a beautiful bird.

Sorry Jim, I never replied to your comment; I'm sure one of the species in this genus hunts in a pair, not sure if Harris' do...but I know a man who does so I'll ask.
