Biggles's Fotothing

The smock mill at Orsett in Essex. On the rear of the cap is a plastic owl to scare off the pigeons- as you can see from the pigeons sitting there, it doesn't work very well!

This mill has a very Kentish look to it, I assume the millwright who designed/ built it came from across the River Thames, not a million miles away from here...
