This pic of the Night Heron was taken a month ago. Pay attention to the pinkish legs, opposed to the yellow legs in the previous pic, which was taken last week. The pinkish legs are typical to the courting and nesting season.

Funny, that.Male ostriches also get red legs, when mating season comes. Do you use special lenses for bird shots?

Thanks Therese, I use the Canon S2 built-in lens plus a X1.5 teleconverter, it's equivalent to a 648mm lens.
