The power of flowers is amazing in so many ways.....the snowdrop is used, amongst other flowers, in the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease, the Hypericum, or Rose of Sharon is used in the treatment of depression (St John's wort) the opium poppy is being grown in England to address the shortage of Morphine for pain relief...and of course, on the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year, the poppy reminds us of the sacrifice made by so many brave men and women who gave their lives for us......
