Seriously gorgeous bark. Is it always this color? You said: "this time of year" which could mean that there are others that are your favorite at different times of the year....OR, you know............

Thanks Larry...I suppose I mean when I go out at this time of year and see this tree(which isn't seen everywhere..) it's my favourite at that time...I think the bark is ornamental in the winter...and more nondescript at other times, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong! I also love the silver birch..and...and...
