one of North Tenerife's most interesting Towns Barbara. Garachico is a wonderful small town. Some of it was destroyed in the last volcanic eruption in 1705 and what you see has been mainly built since then. The Castle of San Miguel - takes 10 minutes to see if you walk slowly, the lava swimming pools and the churches this is not a place to rush around
