Bit of a surprise this morning Sylvia....and it's still snowing, but a bit brighter now...hopefully it will all be gone before tonight...:) Hope it passes you by, too!
I have been out and knocked off as much snow as I can, but they are looking very sorry for themselves :(( I'm not surprised, I would out in this weather....
"Maynards Wine gums contain no wine. The name comes from the lingering, subtle fruit flavors that make it "similar to the experience of savouring a fine wine". In reference to this, the sweets have the names of alcoholic drinks on them, for example port, sherry, champagne, claret, gin, rioja, chablis and Burgundy. Also appearing on Maynards' gums are "M" and Maynards."
there now, instead of saying "gee, do they really have wine in them?" like i usually would, i looked it up myself for the rest of the world who may wonder! THANKS BARBARA, you're so cool, and such a colorful box in front of the winter white background! (p.s. i'm sure i wouldn't like them either, i don't care for candies that are chewy gooey gummy like that, and i too am enjoying fresh eggs right now from my son's city chickens, yum!)
Thanks for that Steph!! Even if they had wine in them I wouldn't like them, as I don't drink, either:)) but I do like lots of different sweets, just not chewy, gummy gooey!
The winter wonderland has disappeared and given way to howling gales now...and I am glad you are enjoying fresh eggs from your son's chickens....they really are in a different class from shop-bought eggs, aren't they?
ps I haven't been called 'cool' for about thirty years, so thanks for that!!!!
Thats a colourfull trade for some eggs.... I was surprised to see that you had snow, Barbara!! I have heard it on television, but they promised (lol) that it will not come to Holand..... I hope they are right this time!!
Image of the eggs coming up...we have just done our trade-in at Claire's farm:)) weather tropical today, brilliant sunshine and blue skies....incredible!!
