Local disaster of today i.e 2008 Jan 6-th. Two fishermen went for netfishing and after couple of minutes they realised that their boat start to sink.(Probably because of mini iceberg crash.)Boat immediatelly diverted tried to come back to harbour. Final result on my pictures. Both crewmembers saved.
OH you're talking of the noise of the shutter. Yes, I also have an old Zenit, true it has a similar noise plus the clack of the mirror. But then the Contax is the father of many Russian cameras such as the Kiev.
After WW II russian troops moved from Western to Eastern Europe a lot of industry equipement for cameras, cars, watches,opticals and many other things and simply started to copy it.
