Waiting. We got here at 10:30 AM and didn't get to the registration desk until 4:00 PM. 5 and 1/2 hours in line, and it seemed like no one left. In fact, most people were in a decent mood;.
Personally, I do it for Ashley. A lot of the kids and young adults are dressed up and they entertain each other. Ashley was not happy, but we drove three hours to get there and she was going to get in. I could have found plenty of other things to do in Boston to justify the drive, but, as I said, this trip was for Ashley.
Styxpix, they dress as anime characters. Anime is a Japanese animated art form. the corresponding book form is called manga. A lot of Saturday morning cartoons in he US are from anime. .Those that dress up perform cos plays (for costume play) where they act like their character. Some of these can be elaborate, but most are just a few minutes of posing.
If you click on "view entire album" under this photo, you will see pictures from all the anime conventions I have taken Ashley to. If you click on the tag "anime" you will also see anime pictures from a few other fotothingers
Haha Tom33 I sometimes feel the same!...but it doesn't really move much at all here...a 5 and 1/2 MINUTE wait is borderline worth doing... I did wait about that long when a good film came to Brecon!!
