Potterjo, the conventions have game rooms, dealer rooms where they sell anything related to anime or manga, speakers, panels, bands, movies, anime /manga artists and lots of live shows where attendees perform skits or play live anime chess. There are also costume competitions, and formal photo opportunities for attendees who dress up.

Another exciting industry - everything else has already been invented.
