OMG!! I so agree...What mpg does THAT thing do??? It makes me feel my efforts are in vain...
My friend in Colorado was grumbling about the rise in the price of petrol there, so I did a bit of maths and found that you'd be paying 8.74 US dollars/gallon if you had our prices...that MIGHT focus American minds on fuel economy..??

I'd like to hear that argument Lensvision.

It has to do with the way it is produced. The production method of a Hummer isn't as environmently unfriendly as that of a Toyota Prius. The Prius being a hybrid car doesn't add up to the way it's produced.
Saw it in a newsprogramme a while ago.

Hmmm...I don't think I buy that, Lensvision...but I'll try to find out - I'm prepared to eat my words if I'm wrong!!!

If you read the comments on this Hummer v Prius article you'll find that it's discredited I think...

Interesting article and comments. I guess it will be an ongoing discussion between pro's and con's.
I just thought it was unbelievable that a Hummer could be "cleaner" then a Prius.
I wouldn't buy either, too much of a Fiat Panda fan ;-))
