Cada 28 de diciembre los pobladores de Sanare ( Estado Lara, Venezuela) celebran su tradicional Baile de los Zaragozas, una hermosa y colorida festividad con el cual conmemoran el Día de los Santos Inocentes, en medio de la creencia de que sólo ocultando su identidad y bailando durante todo el día podrán hacer realidad sus promesa…. La tradición de la Zaragoza sanareña es muy antigua, se estima que supera los 200 años.

Every December 28 the people of Sanare ( Lara State, Venezuela) celebrate their traditional dance of Zaragoza, a beautiful and colorful festival which commemorates the Day of the Innocents, amid the belief that only by hiding his identity and dancing throughout the day can realize their promise. …The tradition of Zaragoza sanareña is very old, it is estimated that more than 200 years.
