Great remembrance

So sorry about your dad Ann, this is a wonderful photo of you two! I know how it is having my own dad gone for seven years this summer..(july 1st)..and, his funeral was on our national holiday July 4th *Independence Day. We have a lot of fireworks on that night here, and as we sat watching the sky light up from our family cottage on the lake...(the same lake and within view of where we defeated the British fleet in the 'Battle of Lake Erie' in 1812. (a little aside for you ann! :))..) but, you can imagine the thoughts going through our heads that evening with all the emotion of our loss...and yes, miss my dad so much and all his letters and phone calls to me now...hope you're feeling better now Ann.

Thankyou for that Will. what a lovely comment . He has been gone for about 16 years now , but it still seems like yesterday . We were so close .Thanks for the info my friend , and the lake looks lovely. I miss his calls too. and little things he did . I know life must go on and so it does . but between him and mum , they put me on this earth . So how could i ever not miss him .. i am so sorry for your loss too . you are in my thoughts . i am feeling much better since talking to you . Thankyou again my friend .... :)) annieann xxx
