With my new cam I can finally show you both piers in one go!!!

Please click on original view and then on enlarge in order to be able to see both piers stretching out their arms and welcoming the ships sailing into their safety! To give you an idea: The left (southern) pier is approx. 3 kilometers long!!!

The lake you see is the Kennemer Lake. It is not for human swimming, it is for the birds and other wild animals and it is also used by dogs. Many dogs love to have a swim in the sea too!

The buildings you see at the very right of the picture are a large hotel, with a view on the sea, the dunes and the marina, small restaurants and summer necessities shops, as well as a second apartment building overlooking the sea.
