Thanks for your nice comment dear Kaska. It is only now that I started to gather more info on these two tigers that I found out that they are made of wood!!!
You are right the girl looks a bit shy, but there was a lot of wind and she was sitting on the high tiger, feeling a bit uncomfortable...

THanks for your very nice comment my dear Liz. It is true: this is art the children can do something with, and the parents wait patiently... The child's fantasy will make it ride on the tiger in a jungle in stead of the shopping centre. You do not need an electrical device upon a fake car or aeroplane where you have to put money in.

Anna...as you mentioned a fake car or aeroplane to put money in...is so true..
Lourens was not 15 months yet....the he already knew where the money must
go in...point the little finger to the money slot.....
in that option this is much better.....just hope the wood sculptures will last
a while..!!

There is so much paint on it, I guess several layers, Liz, to withstand the wet dutch climate. You see that even this little grandson of yours already knows where to put the money in... :) These tigers stimulate the children's imagination! What I like so much is that you can put the baby of the family on the little tiger. Moreover dear Liz: the zoo is practically around the corner here...

My daughter in law and my grandson live close by dear Hans, that is why I visit Emmen on a regular basis now. Later on we shall go to the zoo as well.
