Thanks Riet. You are right, for the young people it is different, but the older people can never look at this without some feelings coming back from those dark five years.

ofcourse it was a dark time !! ... no doubts ..but now its part of our history ..i think it should be saved for our kids to remember this !! ... you know i like exploring these buildings ! ...in an hour i go to fort Hoofddorp ... fortress month starts next friday !! ... www.fortenmaand.nl

There are two standpoints concerning these german bunkers from WWII: one is yours, its belongs to our history now, and let us preserve them, and the other one is get rid of these things with memories that can hardly be endured. Welll, the last word has not been spoken yet. Time will tell what is going to happen to these bunkers

we can have a long discussion about this !! :-)) ... i still hope some of these bunkers will remain ..most of them are gone anyway !!
