I wrote Wijnie already that the two of you should go to Kos some time, some day.
Now the season is over, but as of of May Kos comes back to life again, with all the trees
flowering. It is so beautiful in spring!

I've always found this a great place to be.
The fish swim together with you in the water. When you stand still they swim around you. It feels indeed a bit like being in paradise...

Dear Guenther: thank you for your comment. I miss the lovely island of Kos and my daily swimming in the clear and clean waters. I am planning to go back during the whole month of March and in doing so make the long and grey dutch winter a bit shorter...

True enough dear Guenther, but there is a difference between what you want and what you can do with a view to the commitments you have in life...

We have a friend whose family lived in Kos. Their Mother's name was Despina Leos. She is buried there. What a wonderful warm family. They own a chocolate factory and stores here in the states. So nice to see the beauty of their home in your photo!
