Holland - Zaandam
Inside the czar Peter house. It is the oldest wooden house in Zaandam, and to protect it against wind and weather a house was built around it. Nevertheless: everything is terribly askew inside this old house... It almost makes you dizzy.
In the summer of 1697 Czar Peter came to Zaandam and Amsterdam, later he would also travel to London, to learn more about the craftmanship of building ships. A house in Zaandam still reminds of the week in which he stayed in Zaandam and slept in this small wooden house.
