Statue based upon a painting by Picasso (1881-1973) near museum Boijmans van Beuningen. The sculpture was made by the norwegian Carl Nesjar (1920). It originally stood on the corner of Weena and the Kruisplein, but was moved here in 2003. It is called Sylvette after one of Picasso's models, whom he painted and drew more than 40 times in 1954.
