Spain - Granada - Snow clad Sierra Nevada - Early in May 2008
The Sierra Nevada is the highest mountain group on the mainland of Spain, only on the Canary Islands you can find a mountain range which is higher.

With 16 mountain tops above 3,000 meters the Sierra Nevada is (after the Alps) the second highest mountain range in Europe. The highest out of these 16 tops is the Mulhacén (3482 m).

It is true, dear R. My brother lives in the neighbourhood of Benidorm, and he saw the neighbourhood change in such an incredible speed, that one can hardly believe what one sees... And of course this happens in so many places... I myself noticed big changes in Malaga these last years...
