Hotel with Jugendstil/Art Nouveau elements - entrance

The Museum Quarter and the Concert Hall Quarter belong to the fanciest of Amsterdam. You will find beautiful houses, hotels and shops there, as well lots of small and good restaurants. Because we were way too early for the concert my grandson and I walked around in the neighbourhood and we also visited the beautiful Vondel Park, named after one of our greatest poets.

I shall show you what we saw on our February 26, 2007 walk.

Mooi, nadat ik de foto twee keer vergroot had kon ik de Jugendstil goed zien, dat heeft toch wel iets, hoor!

Dankjewel Riet. In de zomer wil ik nog eens teruggaan. Met meer licht zie je het allemaal toch wat beter! Maar ik weet nu tenminste waar ik het vinden kan...
