Greece - Kos Island - Cos City
The town has a 14th century fortress at the entrance to its harbour, erected in 1315 by The Knights of Saint John of Rhodes.
You have a special nose for fortifications dear Hans!
I uploaded one picture of this fortification already on FT.
It is indeed the same building in Kos City which is called the Castle, and which is in reality a mighty fortification. I made lots and lots of photos there, which will follow later.
