Alden's Fotothing

The Daimyo Bonsai is a tree that was presented to Lincoln's envoy to China in 1863. The envoy, Mr. Burlingame, later gave his name to the town south of San Francisco. The tree still thrives in the Golden State Bonsai Collection North, in Oakland's Lakeside Park.
