Alden's Fotothing

I went up a side road from Mount Veeder Road and saw a sign for Mayacamas Vineyards at the head of a dirt road. Drove up that road to a high mountain meadow partly planted with old grapevines. In the world of hoity-toity Napa winegrowers, Mayacamas is one of the hoitiest. Not having an appointment, I turned around. This view is eastward, roughly overlooking Oakville in the heart of the Napa Valley.
