yes, but people are coming down after they went up, since this was snapped on Deserta Grande island, one of two groups of smaller islands, belonging to Madeira archipelago, which are natural reserves. No one lives there, except ofcourse the guards, Sometimes field trips from ecological groups or school groups are made and this was one my husband took part in. There's no harbour, so people come to shore on rubber dinghys (?) and to explore this island, which is the biggest of this group, one must climb all this!!!!!
