Queen Anne cherries? This photo takes me back to a time in the late 1940's when I would climb onto the garage roof to pick cherries. My Mother always told me not to climb the tree, and to stay off the roof of the garage.
Forgiveness was easier to get than permission!!!
Yum. I have a cherry tree also in my garden - I leave the fruit for the birds. As a child a neighbour had a cherry tree overhanging the path, so when we walked past we used to reach up and 'steal' a few!!
