Abhatti's Fotothing

Historical Silver coins of Punjab, Pakista.

I found these coins in my childhood about at age of ten years in my village during a heavy rainfall. Coins have remained in my pocket ever since. I do not know how old they are but I know they are from an Islamic era.

They must be few centuries old as my village was built on the very old ruins. There is a strip of several hundred miles long that must have been destroyed during an earthquake. During the rain when earth got wased away we used to find various things. Now the whole area has been flattened and built over but in various other villages the ruins remain and can be seen.The coins are hammered (Hand Made) from pure silver. Now they are a bit tarnished.I am very proud to own them.
